The Ascension of Garrosh
This is the story of how a lowly lesser god, Garrosh Bladesworn, broke his oath to Saint Corellon and went on to become a true deity.
Variations & Mutation
The major variations tend to be between those who worship Garrosh and those who do not. Those who do always paint him in a noble way, portraying him as a cunning fighter who was spurned by his superiors and sought to make his own fate, rather than have it made for him. By comparison, those who do not worship Garrosh portray him as a corrupt and vile creature, one who cheated his opponents and stole power from those who deserved what they had, while he did nothing more than deny those better than himself.
In Art
Most forms of this myth come through as narration or carved stories. On the odd occasion, a particularly skilled orc may put an approximation of the tale on a tapestry or carve some stone relief, but those are very uncommon.
