Saint Magnar
Chosen saint of Arsator, Magnar is meant to serve as the icon of craftsmanship and honest labor. He is the patron of tradesmen and laborers who use training and practice to maintain their crafts, reinforcing that which is known as opposed to creating something new. While this makes him and his followers dependable crafters who are trusted far and wide, it also makes many of them slow to change and stubborn, a trait which Magnar is portrayed as constantly. As part of his divine powers, Magnar is considered the patron saint of Dwarves, and much of their society is based upon the teachings of him and his partner, Saint Berranor.
As part of their union and in imitation of the greater giants of yore, Saint Magnar and Saint Berranor took a portion of their own power and imparted unto their most loyal followers, creating the Dwarven hero-saints known collectively as the Seacadh. All lesser gods in their own right, the Seachadh each founded one of the great Dwarven cities and have gone on to become legendary heroes the world over. While Vergadain is often seen as a blood-brother or general companion of the Saints, the remaining four members of the Seacadh are often portrayed as the children of Magnar and Berranor, with Hranstir and Cathhaddin taking more after their father than their mother. Among members of the Seacadh and most dwarves, Magnar is called Magnar Moth-Righ, meaning High-King.

While numerous copies and transcriptions exist all across Ceren, the copy held by the clergy in Dun Clach is said to be the original copy penned by Magnar himself.

When using those tools to create something or roll an ability check, add your proficiency bonus to the roll (where or not you are already proficient in them). In addition, items you craft with these tools are resistant to natural degradation, such as rust or erosion.
Labor of Love: You are accustomed to physical exertion for extended periods. Whenever you roll a check or saving throw to resist the effects of Exhaustion, you roll with advantage.
Social
Contacts & Relations
Members of the Seacadh: Among his fellow members of the Seacadh, Magnar is respected and honored as the leader. Berranor sees it as her duty to serve him as a wife (though whether her duties as a Saint of Elsana are more important is often debated), and his half-kin Vergadain sees him as a close friend and ally. All of his children respect him to varying degrees, though the form this respect takes is changes greatly from one being to another.
Saint Nuallo: Magnar is said to be on good terms with Nuallo, at least when compared to Tyrus. There is a mutual respect in how the toils of one work to sustain the toils of the other, something members of their respective clergy both acknowledge and praise. The vast differences between the lands and crafts they are associated with have certainly caused a distance between them, but they work despite them.
Saint Tyrus: Saint Magnar is said to have a great dislike for his saint-brother Tyrus, due mostly to his actions in breaking away from the pantheon and creating, what most of Magnar's clergy calls, a heretical falsehood that works to bring down the good word of Arsator and the Prime gods as a whole. Due to Magnar's promotion of dependability and oath-keeping, the actions of Tyrus are considered directly opposed to the ideals Magnar promotes, furthering the rift between the two.
