Bene Midbarim
Those who are the desert dwellers. They have secret wells scattered throughout the deserts and are the only ones brave enough to live in those barren wastelands. They trade for things that they cannot make on their own, like metal weapons and armor in exchange for animal hides. The origin of the Bene Midbarim is a mystery, the investigation of which has produced an abundance of educated speculation but no solution. Archaeological and linguistic evidence strongly suggests they may have originated in the ancient city of Ithacus. They are comprised of several lineages, including humans, goblinoids, and orcs.

Shared customary codes and values
Bene Midbarim, know whose well is whose, and you do not serve yourself from a well that is not your tribe's property. Those who are foolish enough to take water from another tribe's well have declared a water feud between the tribes and this can lead to war.
The Bene Midbarim do not tell lies, it is simply not a part of their culture to tell a lie. They know that outsiders are deceptive to get what they want, but they refuse to be the same as outsiders. They take lying very seriously and will remove the tongue of a liar. other than stealing water, it is the greatest sin to lie.
Those who are able to must work. Children gather animal feces for fires, those who cannot walk take care of the children by use of chairs with treads that can move by hand crank, the elderly will often mend tents or clothing.
