A teenager living in Beacon Hills. She was dating one of the victims of The Darach Murders, Emily McKnight, at the time of the murders.
She and Emily were camping in Beacon Hills Nature Preserve, in order to get some time alone, as Emily lived with her parents and Caitlin in a shared apartment.
Caitlin left the tent in order to try and shoo away moths which were landing on the tent, attracted by the light. She was only gone a few moments, but when she returned to the tent, Emily was gone. She was never seen alive again.
Caitlin called the Beacon County Sheriff's Department, and was sent to Beacon Hills Memorial Hospital for assessment, as she was extremely distressed, and the attending Sheriff's Deputy was concerned she might have taken something.
While in the hospital, she was questioned by Stiles Stilinski, and confirmed his theory that the victims of the first tryptich were all virgins.
