Argent Clan

A Hunter Clans founded in 1768 by Marie-Jeanne Valet and her husband Henri Argent, after they slayed the La Bête de Gévaudan.

Like other clans, they are lead by the family for which the clan is named, but the clan also includes non-related Hunters. However, since the death of Dean, the Clan has only two surviving members, the current Matriarch, Allison Argent, and her father Chris Argent.

At one time, they were considered one of the most powerful hunter clans in the world, and several werewolf myths, most notably that silver kills werewolves, stem from the clan's activities.
