The International Sahviit Trains

There is no nation in the world that relies upon trains for transportation than the vast Tveyshan areas. There are hundreds of different types of trains within Tveysha - the short tracked for innercity travel, the older models used within provinces, the plow train designed for moving in the snowy south. Of all these trains, none are more grand the International Sahviit.

First conceptualized in the early 1230's, the Sahviit rail system was designed to connect the main capitol of all seven provinces. As the design continued, the track system expanded to hit thirteen more major cities across the nation. Construction on the rails began in each major capitol simultaneously in the summer of 1238. Over the next decade, it continued. Five more cities were added to the rail plans, and a track leading to the Reaves was removed - replaced with a track ending at the Snow Train's station instead.

In order to combat protests against the train system, the designers took several different precautions and actions across many different areas. Land bridges were built periodically along the trail to deal with protests about danger to animals. In the northern areas where Toraq were a common threat, the tracks were elevated up, with convex artificial hills placed beside it to push the animals away. One particularly dangerous area required the train to dip underground for nearly a dozen miles. Finally, to appease the vast amount of protesters in the south where many nature gods were worshipped, over a hundred thousand replacement trees were planted a distance from the train track to replace the ones cut down.

The track system was officially completed in the spring of 1252. The Sahviit line opened its lines with their new train, but the work was far from finished. Over the years, the train system has expanded to include twenty more cities within the nation. In addition, it managed to create one stop in Entreo, one in the Avlinn States, and four within Somam. The trains on the track have undergone several different redesigns, in order to make the trains more streamline and luxury-based. To date, travelling from the northern-most point (Avlinn States) to the southernmost (the Reaves outpost) would take four days.

The Design

The Sahviit train is two-tiered, with the top level having chairs in groups of six with a table between them all and the bottom tier featuring small cabin rooms of two different types (one with sleeping bunks, one without). It contains twenty coaches, with three of them featuring a dining car. On the top level of both the front and back cart is a rounded open window observatory open for any passenger to go into, allowing a wide view of the journey.
