Orellias

Look around and watch! Bickering fools who take the most unrelated of words and turn it to war. Fools who take granted the lives of those we are sworn to protect with our lives. Not theirs. Look and see how distrust and greed for power has made these lands suffer. As we stand alone, we continue to bring nothing but ruin. And the few who think they are quick enough to beat their enemies, but will eventually fall to another one quicker than they are, would not realize it is so.
United, we would stand stronger than any of those who would think otherwise. We would act and defend as one, and for once put the promises we made to our people first. It is only then, when everyone has put down these weapons of hate, will we truly deserve the title of 'gods'.

Countries

There are seven different regions within Orellias, as well as the city-state of the gods.

Avlinn States

Located in the north-western corner, the Avlinn States thrive on a mix of tourism, farming, and fishing industries. It's home to one of the most advanced medical facilities in the world, as well as boasting a thriving entertainment industry. With very little land available, each state is nearly made of one giant city or stretches of farmland. This has pushed the area to stretch skywards, creating tall super structures. Though it hides itself in glitz and glam, the nation is host to several tragic events they try desperately to hide.

Somam

On the western coastline, Somam consists of six different countries. Many are old and powerful nations, bordered by the ocean on their west side, and various strips of deserts on the east. It is often marveled at for its architectural wonders - including the constructed islands dotting its sea line coast. The guilds within grant it one of the most powerful trade systems on the continent, as well as a large source of metal and gem materials.

Tveysha

Dominating the central and southern areas, Tveysha is comprised of twelve different territories all aligned under a treatise. To the north it hosts the deserted wasteland of the Bone Court, and stretches all the way to the frozen lands of the Reaves. There have been many differing opinions about the nation, with wariness caused from the previous emperor's all out war to their worship of the Harbinger of Death. However, the power of twelve territories aligned together cannot be denied - neither can the thousands of gods that stem from these vastly differing lands.

Alvast

A strip of desert land between the Tveyshan and Somam regions, Alvast is rich with minerals, ore, and other materials coveted by many. It was once the cause of much strife between the two. After the end of a decades long war, the treaty ending the conflict declared the land neutral and belonging to neither of the nations regional gods. Those who live in the area are more than happy to keep their independence.

Entreo

Home of the Efir, Entreo's thick jungles are host to a variety of unique creatures. It boasts the constant pursuit of science, while working to mix its traditional magic and artifact creations with the modern world. While not always the friendliest, the decline of the nation's ruler and changing of power to his eldest son has made the nation work on opening its borders and garner alliances with those around them.

Morri

Nestled between the Khotti, Entreo, and Tveysha, Morri is a controversial, matriarchal nation due to its open acceptance and admittance of legal demonic possession. Ranging from the Iron Queen and her closest guard, to the common artists and bakers, a citizen within the nation can bond itself with a demon. The nation tends to be at constant odds with the gods of the west, partially due to its history of warmongering.

The Golden City

The home of the gods. Construction for this city was started shortly after the Unification, and finished several centuries later. While only the gods and personal arks are allowed to live there, visiting the city is often regarded as an act of pilgrimage to many. It is considered one of the greatest architectural locations in the world - despite the massive damage done after a great disaster several centuries ago.

The Khotti

An Ashwir word meaning "the lost", the Khotti is a vast landmass separated from Tveysha by the Emblem Sea, the Last Divide, and Morri. Communication with the area is scarce, as it was considered cursed by the gods after the banishment of the Revenant. The people of the area are in constant strife against the Morraen nation, with the two having experienced frequent border skirmishes and on-and-off war for centuries.
