Guardians of Devotion Session 07 Report
Gemini Mystery: Part 1
General Summary
After finally leveling up to Level 3 and getting their new subclass, Chester sends the Blue Berries to the far northern reaches of Flanaess to help and old friend of his, Elro Aldataur, solve a mystery surrounding the death of a local. The party arrives during the funeral to discover that the body has turned into an immaculate ice sculpture. Elro explains that he doesn't know why or how this happened, but offers the party some leads as to where they can get their search started.
Beginning at Urgon's home, the party discovers that his place has been ransacked, but that nothing has been stolen. They find a set of mysterious footprints, likely a female Dwarf, a receipt from Pelc's Curiosities, and Urgon's adventuring gear (which he clearly won't be needing, so why not pick it up?).
Moving on the party comes to the home of Tulgi Lutan, a trapper who also seems to have contracted this strange illness that slowly turns you Ice. Talking their way in with the promise of cookies the party started to hit a wall in the conversation until Zaynathan gathered himself up to his full size and rolled a Nat 20 intimidation check! Tulgi had no choice but to come clean about her double life and about how she had robbed Pelc's Curiosities. She also shared that she believes that she got her illness from one of the items she stole, but doesn't know which one. She was certain that the dagger she stole and kept, was not what got her sick and gave it over to the party.
The Blue Berries decided that their next stop would be Pelc's Curiosities to speak with Verla Pelc to get her insight about the stolen relics and to see what she knows about the illness which killed Urgon and threatens Tulgi.

Jenkins_Secretary: Urgon’s adventuring equipment consists of a silvered maul (worth 110 gp), a suit of splint armor sized for a dwarf (worth 200 gp), bulky, fur-lined clothing sized for a dwarf, a grappling hook, and a hooded lantern.
Zaynathan: Receipt from Pelc's Curiosities which itemize what Urgon had sold her; A +1 Daggar from the flying city of Aeor.
