The Titans
The Titans were the first beings to form out of the free matter after the rupture of the Divine Order. They then began to shape their surroundings into the planes as they exist to this day, using the energies of the Spark to create all forms of life. The first beings that the Titans gave life to are collectively described as Senlon, who in the belief of the Durnali manifest themselves as spirits of nature.
There was one Titan in each plane of existence, but they eventually gave the last of their own essence in the act of creation.
The Titan of the material plane was named Durn. His lifeless body is assumed to be the Durnfall mountain range itself. In grief over their fallen father, the Senlon erected a shrine in the lap of the Titan's body, which eventually was discovered a group of elves who proceeded to build their capital city around it, and henceforth called themselves the Durnelves.
The Air Titan is referred to as the Mistress. In the creation of the plane she gave up her physical body and now manifests as the face of a beautiful woman, formed out of floating strips of paper and white silk. She is very social and frequently appears to visitors of the plane to inquire about their intentions. If she senses the motives to be good-natured she will give her aid to their cause. Few have successfully stolen parts of her, most gave their life in the attempt to do so.
