Popping Poppies

Popping Poppies are produced in the South Sacal Rainforest and exported from Zahrain. They are large red flowers whose seeds can be ground to produce a very strong drug. Depending on dosage and mixture with other substances, its effects can be anything from mild sedation to hallucinations to screaming convulsions. When the poppies are about to cast their seeds, they pop loudly and the seeds are flung far and wide. The flowers are now cultivated in great fields by the people of Zahrain. The act of taking the drug produced by the seeds is known as 'popping' and the user is said to have been 'popped.' Frequent users say it feels like your head explodes and your senses expand outward. The after effects are a terrible headache and dry mouth.
