Dagon

Dagon is a pagan god of the north, the steppe, and the uncaring cruelty of nature. He does not accept traditional worship or provide any instruction from his worshipers. He is merely a great malevolence felt in the far north when otherwise alone. He is the tempting whisper that paralyzes the weak traveler into paralysis and the strong to ever great acts of psychopathy in the name of survival. It is only these most depraved and desperate individuals onto whom he grants his favor, most often times in the form of a monstrous transformation. The wendigo possessing spirits of cannibalism and the akhlut monstrous hybrids of whale and wolf are both among his children.

Some scholars speculate that Dagon may be an especially cruel and foreign avatar or misattribution of Odysseus, but this is considered high heresy by all religious organizations devoted to the Righteous Pantheon.
