Augustine

During the Age of Slumber Augustine attempted to halt the flow of time, through the use of his immortal chosen one Frollo. All potential replacement gods of magic were killed through religious ritual before they could ascend and the development of man was halted.This was thwarted by Frollo's insanity and the actions of a band of heroes known as the Espadas. Frollo's mind fractured to the point that he could not hear his gods commands as anything but one voice in a vast crowd. In that haze the Espadas cast him down, ushering in a new age of magic when their own, Acaelus Thorne, ascended as the god Pendeller.
Since that time Augustine has gone dormant, only acting by granting his favor in return for proper worship. His abuse of history was but a hair's breath from causing him to fall and become the god of stasis. He is unwilling to risk any further breaches of conduct.
