Taliana's Letter to her father

A sealed letter given by Talina Tarrendown to Brock Fynwaters, the apprentice who has been like an older brother to Tali her whole life. The letter, bound with a black ribbon and wax seal, is for her father Cinwell, but only to be given to him by Brock should news come back to Vexhaven that something has happened to Tali.
Brock has the letter in his work bag, wrapped carefully in a piece of dark cloth, and he does not like to be reminded that it is in there as he worries frequently about her travels.

Legal status

A change in the heir of a forge to a techniacally unrelated party is unheard of - however Brock was a child of the city, who was taken on as an apprentice as part of a city wide scheme to reduce the number of urchin children living around the Forge Quarter. He has been an unoffical Tarrendown since he was 8.
This letter would allow Cinwell as the Grand Forge Master to sway the other heads of forges in the city to petition the mayor into naming Brock as the new heir to the Grand Forge.

Taliana's Letter to her father

Dad,
If you are reading this, one of two things has happened.
One - Brock is a terrible person and has given you this the second I left Vexhaven. or, Two - something terrible has happened to me.
I know of the risks of heading out to find the dragon. I know you truely did not want me to go. But I know that you also knew how much it meant to me to be able to go and join the quest.
I hope that I will be able to keep you updated as I travel - the plan is to head north, pass through the White Forest, through to Hankala, and through the mountains towards Azeroth's Gate. From there, I am not sure which route we will take, but assuming we make it that far, I will make myself known to a guard at least so that if anybody comes looking there will be somebody who has seen us.
I thereby inistist, by means of this letter, that should I not return home to Vexhaven in a suitable manner to take over the responsibilties of the forge, that the long standing apprentice of the Purple Seat Of The City of Vexhaven named Brock Fynwaters should be named heir in my stead.
