Deathstalker Nation

The Deathstalker Nation is the formal name for the territory occupied by the Deathstalker in Dreagor. It has a largely corrupt government, as the Deathstalker who seek power are usually very evil, but in domestic community it is an amazing country. The Deathstalker Nation owns the bottom-left third of Dreagor’s land, a highly vegetated desert and chaparral. They also own the Scorpion Channel, a thin river connecting the oasis at Half-Way Point to Big Anne lake. The Scorpion Channel is also the border between the Hogfolk territory and the Deathstalker territory. The Deathstalker Nation is ruled by a monarch, along with a cabinet of (usually traitorous) advisors and senators. The above get to make the laws and rules, as well as charge tax, but other than that, the people of the Deathstalker Nation have made their own emergency response and trial systems, as well as volunteer policing teams. Although the official laws state otherwise, the people of the nation have a punishment system for things they deem unjust. This system is largely fair, omitting the death penalty as a punishment for murder.

Structure

There is a high king that basically does whatever he wants, and under him are a court of advisors that must obey the laws. That doesn’t stop them from plotting to assassinate the king though. The king has many indentured servants that have been as so for generations of their family. Some never see retirement or release.
