Alys Caithness
Assuming she is a daughter of Clytemnestra "Fanny" Glitters, Alys Caithness would be the third of Fanny's six daughters to be encountered by the The Ladies' Hiking Club, following Violet Verihendrion Miller and the deceased girl with the turquoise fingernails shown to Fanny in a vision.
Background
Alys Caithness was released at birth to the custody of her father, Scott Caithness, a visual artist of some repute in Dartwright. As Fanny had only been back to Dartwright once after the birth, she had little knowledge of (and at the time, little care for) the disposition of the child. Alys' mother is a topiary artist, whom Fanny dismisses blithely as a gardener or hedge-trimmer. The two do not get on, with Fanny nearly slicing her to shreds at their last meeting. Vega Spritzer's message from Eldath suggests that when the Illinsi came to Dartwright, Scott held up under questioning (questioning by the Illinsi? how?) but that Alys' wicked stepmother spilled the beans about the child (now a teenager of some 13 or 14 years) having been sent to the Red Osprey Keep for religious instruction. Such a move would make some sense at the upper tiers of Tenth society, where the clergy occupy a higher social caste even than artists. Any promotion between castes in that society is a long shot, but perhaps one the Caithness family -- longstanding, very well respected members of the immediately subordinate class of artists -- were willing to take. The fate of all three(?) members of the Caithness family was unclear at the time of the communication from Eldath, though her reference to a third star's appearance in the sky seemed to portend nothing positive for Scott.Rescue from the Red Osprey Keep
Fanny infiltrated the Red Osprey Keep during its @siege, finding that the abbey itself had been thoroughly butchered, seemingly withour resistance, by a mystery assassin later revealed to be Tara Thessaly. Being tipped off to her whereabouts by @Katya, Fanny engaged her in a kickass tower-to-tower battle involving a zipline and a Goblin sidekick. The fight ended in a draw, with both Guildmates bleeding badly and curled in the fetal position staring at one another. Tara spit. Beulah Garland happened upon the scene, briefly interrogating Tara before her quietus making with a bare bodkin. She also snipped the zipline upon the Goblin's approach to ensure he fell directly to his death. In trying to calm everyone in the room for the interrogation, Beulah inadvertently also charmed Alys, who came out of hiding and agreed to go with the adventurers when otherwise she likely would not have been so disposed.Adventures in the Feywild
In her brief time in the Feywild, Alys got to know her mother for the first time and reflected on some of the similarities in their characters. Both were hustlers, boykillers, and disdainful of priestly authority. She aided her mom in a scheme to lift the @Jayemdae from the Goblin Market and watched while she conned three Hearts of the Wild from a handful of wood spirits. After visiting the market, the group headed to visit @Sage in her bog. After Sage insisted that Ch--- / Chantrelle Pittypat / Charity Milkbath / Cherry Merrybottom relinquish her Fae-given powers and moved to do so by force, a fight broke out. Alys dashed behind Fanny, returning her dragontooth dagger to her for their mutual defence. Beulah cast Invisibility over most of the party members, Alys included, and she was caught in the mass of beings fighting in the doorway of Sage's hut. She was unable to push her way free as a pair of Oni spirits blasted the group with violent Cones of Cold. She was unable to avoid the blasts or to mitigate her exposure to them. Her current status is uncertain.
