Rand Carrig

Rand is the local smith, and can be called upon to provide armor and weaponry, but most of the time, his duties see him crafting nails and fittings for Bert Flynn.
He does not, of course, work in iron, though he's uncomfortably aware of it's properties. Instead, he works in metals which would be exotic to most mortals- Kuphernickel, Mithrium, mithral, as well as copper, tin, and bronze.
Rand is a surprisingly portly elf, stout around the middle, and in addition to his metalurgic pursuits, is one of Llyrendwyll's several proud brewers, producing both Forgehammer Stout and Forgefire Ginger Red Ale. (The competition between local brewers in Llyrendwyll is... mostly good-natured.)
