People of Palawyr

Until relatively recently, Palawyr was populated by a diverse blend of the same mortal races found in most of the world- Humans, Halflings, Quarterlings, Gnomes, Dwarves, and Breedlings (Half-bloods).
A little less than a decade ago, this changed, with the death of King Benarius, and the ascension of his second wife, Aeonare, a beautiful Elven woman, whose reign almost instantly turned to tyranny with the disbanding of Benarius' mortal army and court. The arrival of the Elven Court was inexplicable. Most in Palawyr had never even seen a pure-blooded Elf before Aeonare.
Currently, no true Elves are known to exist in Nymrii, beyond Palawyr's shores.
