Nysh Character in Nymrii | World Anvil

Nysh

Nysh is the Mortal Goddess of death and pain. She is depicted as a dual-faced, dual-bodied god, like conjoined twins, joined at the back of the skull, shoulders, and hips. One face is gentle and peaceful, bearing in her hands a flower and a drape of silk, the other face is cruel, and bears in it's hands a sickle and a lash. While many of the Gods of Nymrii have strong traceable roots to the Fey and the First Times, Nysh has no clear Fey counterpart, perhaps because she represents death, of which the immortal Fey have little or no concept. She may, if obscurely, be syncretized with Tribloidich, the Fey God of misery.
