The Justiciar Order ambushes Tobby the Taldirian along with other rebels and several other suspect apostates and maleficarum near Torres as they try to secure passage to Krath.
Tobby is reportedly killed in the first strike. All the other companions who traveled with him, including a Gnomengarde citizen named Fibblestib Gladdenstone, are promptly and unceremoniously hanged afterwards.
The act is met with fierce violence in the Navaran eastern frontier and in Gnomengarde abandoning their neutrality and arming the rebels with gnomish technology and weapons.
