Bobby is a unique vendor who offers special items as well as the option to hire Sir Lanis Brunhild and himself as personal merchants.   You can also choose to fight Bobby and Sir Lanis by stepping in the portal behind his throne.

Bobby's Sanctuary Guide:

(TAKE Adequate TORCHES or light sources and LOTS of Breathing potions, the new elvanor mask is also a great boon for this trek.)

  • He can be found in an Underwater Cavern that is hidden in the passage between the North and the Jungle in G11. Or The other entrance at J9.
  • You need to enter through The Passage dungeon enterance.
  • You will need drop/climb down into the cavern of nope.... I mean spiders and make your way across to the other side of the nope cavern.
  • This can be achieved by fighting your way through all the nopes (also known as spiders) and then you will need to climb up the side of the nope cavern onto the other broken bridge part.
  • Alternatively you can use the jump rings/pads to get to the upper/hanging platforms and use them to bounce across to the broken bridge on the other side of the nope cavern.
  • The pillar in The Passage has been made un-climbable in AoC, so we'll need an alternate way to get up to access the Tome of Nature Ascension Vol, 4 and the Tome of Blood Magic. Also, the Sand Reaper Hive Queen was moved to a cage hanging from the top of the cavern because it was difficult to fight with all the plague spiders that are now infesting The Passage. Every enemy in The Passage besides the Sand Hive Queen will drop a cloud of Elarikan Plague, and the scourge spiders have very fast respawn times, so it's quite deadly to fight in here. It's not necessary to fight any of the scourge mobs to traverse through The Passage, so it's recommended to not bring a follower and to pack lightly if you drop items on death.
  • You will find the first jump ring/pad on the ground of the nope cavern, on the left side of the broken bridge part that you dropped down from. The jump ring/pad looks like a white glowing symbols in the shape of a ring laying on an angle. (You will need to use these bounce rings if you want to find Elena Amury (sells the tomb of nature ascention), and the Inquisitor of the Cold Embrace (sells the tomb of blood magic), they are on the center platform, the one with the waterfall).
  • When you walk into the jump pad it'll launch you more or less in the direction it is facing, but there is some variation based on how you approach it, so it's best to line up your jumps. The easiest way to do this is to stand with your back to the jump pad, while facing your intended destination, then back into the pad and launch in the direction you're facing.
  • The first jump pad leads to a platform attached to a pillar hanging from the ceiling. Aim for the pillar as it is climbable, so you can cling to it and descend safely. There is a scourge spider on this platform but it is best ignored, once killed it'll drop a plague cloud that you can't avoid while on the platform. Use the jump pad on this platform to launch to another platform, this one without a spider but with two pads on it. Be careful not to land directly on the next jump pad or you'll get launched immediately without much control. The two jump pads on the third platform lead to the Sand Reaper Hive Queen cage or the platform with the vendors for the magic books. If you're here for both, head to the Hive Queen first as the jump pad from her cage also leads to the platform with the books. Not much aiming is needed for the Hive Queen cage, but the book platform on the big pillar can be difficult to hit. Note that you do have a lot of air control once launched, hold back to slow your speed significantly if needed. The column of water coming down from the ceiling and landing on the pillar platform is swimmable, you should aim to hit this column of water to stop your flight and allow you to descend safely. Finally, a jump pad on the pillar platform leads across the way to the elevated area at the end, which leads to the Underwater Cavern dungeon (swim straight down in the body of water up there) or up the stairs and out into the snowy north.
  • Once you are on the broken bridge on the other side of the nope cavern, you will see water falling into the center of the lake.
  • This marks the spot where you need to dive down into the Underwater Cave.

(The Following guide is written from the perspective of entering the caverns from G11. If you enter from J9 you will need to fight several scourge pets as well as vanilla Conan cave denzeins.)

    Underwater Cave Navigation

(TAKE Adequate TORCHES or light sources and LOTS of Breathing potions, the new elvanor mask is also a great boon for this trek.)
  • You will need to dive down in the first lake next to the steps platform and TRUST when you reach the floor of the lake. (You will "Harry Potter" the lake bottom)
  • You will enter into a new underground (water) labyrinth of several caves with mostly harmless but still scary looking sea creatures.
  • Inside this first cavern:

  • You will want to swim forward hugging the left upper wall (you want to make sure you are swimming up high along the left wall of the cave, almost near the top of the cave) until you come across a big collection of circling Eels. Swim further in through them and continue (they wont hurt you).
  • You will be in the middle cavern now:

  • Keep swimming straight forward until you come across the big mosasaur/"whale" (you will most likely hear it before you see it, it kinda makes a groaning whaleish sound).
  • Once you see the whale, swim up to the water surface and look for a large spire of rock in the center of the cave.
  • Climb up onto the small beach at the base of the ruins. Climb the side and you will find the Magus and one of the tomes. (YOU may need CLIMBING GEAR!).
  • This is where the Magus of Water Element, and a magical tome, are located.
  • The Magus provides the Tome of Water Element magic for 100 calathuia plant and 30 firebloom. Look around the floor for the book. It is on the back right side of the platform.
  • Stand on the book and look away from the camp, in direction of arrow looking edge of the rock (this refers to the rock looking like it comes to an arrow point). Jump off that arrow of stones back into the water.
  • Jumping down and swimming to the bottom of the lake, you will see an entrance almost directly in front of you (the entrance looks like a hanging rock with a narrow passage way underneath it).
  • Swim forward and to the left of the rock separating the passage to avoid the spikes on the right side of the passage along the cave floor. Becarful there will be another set of spikes on the right in the seaweed, but you can see those more easily and swim above them or avoid them.
  • Once past the second set of spikes, follow the right wall of the cave untill you get to the gateway (which is a moss covered stone looking gateway).
  • Be warned that you will need to swim up high when passing through the gateway as there is a set of spikes along the floor of the gateway.
  • The gateway means that you are entering the Large central cave.
  • Large central cave

  • Swim through the gateway, keeping to the right side wall of the cave until you see some mosasaur bones and ruins.
  • Just past the mosasaurs bones/skeliton you wil see the ruins to the right. Within the ruins you will meet Bjorgle (a fishman with a trident) he will teach you 'Frozen Depths'.
  • After speaking with Bjorgle, swim to the rock wall to the right of the Ancient Ruins (just past the Skeleton). Swim between the Ruins and rock wall.
  • After swimming forward for a few meters you will eventually see a Face looming out from the cave wall in the gloomy water.
  • Once you get to the face, swim up and surface.
  • You will see a campfire on the right on a rock/landing, climb onto the rock and follow the rock wall until you find the monolith wedged into the cave wall. This is the Monolith of Electrical Burst.
  • Once you have acquired the knowledge from the Monolith, head back to the campfire and dive back into the water and swim towards the mouth of the Face and into the tunnel (this is directly under the face at the bottom of the cave wall/floor), which leads to a cave behind it. Here you will see a Ruins doorway.
  • Once you have found the doorway enter and turn to the left immediately to see the Monolith of the Felgarth which is only relevent to you if you have chosen the Order of Felgarth faction (be warned that if you head towards the right, you will find a deadend with a spike trap).
  • Swim back out of the Ruins doorway and head back out of the small cave holding the Looming Face.
  •
  • Swim out of the mouth of the face and follow the cave wall to the right, until you find the spike trap hidden on the cave floor within the seaweed at the enterance of the cave opening. You will know that this is the place as there is a mosasaur vertebrae just past the enterance.
  • Once past the vertebrae, follow the cave wall to the left until you see a small opening/tunnel along the cave wall/floor (good place for ore hunting later on).
  • Swim straight through the opening until you come to a Ruins gateway, swim through it.
  • You will see a second Ruins gateway, swim through this one also, but after swiming through the second Ruins gateway, swim directly to the right (a ninty degree turn) and you will see some circling sharks, and a massive ships hull to your left (you may not see the ship and thats okay).
  • Follow the right side of the cave wall until you come across massive ruins that looks like a structure from the sunken city (please note that it is a pretty long swim before you reach the ruins, but will prevent you from getting lost or turned around).
  •
  • Inside you find the Arcane altar still underwater.
  • Swim inside the ruins door/gateway and up the stairs, you will find the Arcane Altar at the back of the large room (you will see the alters purple glowing orb as you approch it) and can attune your magics here.
  • Swim out from the Ruins, and out the front of the Ruins door/gateway and swim up to the surface.
  • Once you have surfaced, swim to the left of the cave wall until you find the torches just below the water surface (there is also a brasier just above the water surface marking where the torches can be found directly below it).
  •
  • Be Warned: There are giant sharks that swims around this area also, they will make a sound effect when they come near you and will appear to try and bite you, they are designed to scare you and will hurt you if you get to close to them, but they swim in a direct path, which makes it kind of easy to avoid them once you know where they are.
  •
  • Swim down and under the rock/cave wall that is marked by the torches, look up and you will see a cave/tunnel/gap in the cave wall, swim up that until you surface, there will be a strip of land with bushes on it.
  • Once on the land you will find Bobby's sanctuary and his portal, by following it around to the left, but be warned there are sneaky spike traps.
  • So unless you want to retrace your steps back through the underwater caves. The portal to the right of Bobby's Altar is the only way out. (The green swirl next to the Sanctuary).
  • If you walk through the portal you will find yourself on a landing up in the air, here you will find Bobby and some of his minions.
  •   -Please Note: Stopping to fight Bobby (and his minions) is a challenge, and he WILL attack you and it will hurt!
  • You will want to just jump down the middle where you see the green lit water, and fall safely in water/lake at the bottom, or leap towards the walls to grab onto it and slide down safely, this will put you back to where you entered the Underground Passage way.
  • There are also stairs to the left of the center well. If you are fast enough, or brave enough you can run down this to the bottom floor and dive into the lake below.
  • Be careful not to dive down too deep, as it will put you pack into the underground cave!
  •

    Please Note:

The torches and brasiers that can be found have been placed by us to assisst you. These are not part of the dungeon, but after complaints about how dark it is and how hard it is to navigate, we decided to place the torches down in certain locations to provide some assistance. We believe that this content should be accessable to all players and understand that navegating dark spaces can be quiet daunting and unbareable for some players. So we have chosesn to place these torches on our server. If you are using this guide to help you navegate this dungeon on another server, you will most likely not find any of the torche markers.
