Magic Tools

This article is mainly meant to serve as a parent article for more specific forms of magic tools.

A Magic Tool is any object which is imbued with Eitnium for the purpose of Magic Funneling. Typically, the most traditional of these objects fall into three categories: Magic Wands, Magic Orbs, and Magic Collars.
While any object can, in theory, become a Magic Tool, certain objects are easier, by design, to imbue with Eitnium. An object does not have to be completely made of Eitnium to conduct magic, but it must be made of at least 3% Eitnium to work. Naturally, this means that smaller objects are much easier to properly craft, and they are also easier to transport, which makes the wands, orbs, and collars the most popular choices. Clothing is also a popular choice for imbuing among some Novians and their cultures - especially for hominids - but their popularity is largely regional when compared to the main three, because Magic Clothing tends to be expensive.

Significance

These items are necessary for using magic on Novanati, especially if someone is not born with an inclination to it.
