Omrin was a man of rich, dark skin and black hair until it went white. He commonly sported a short beard and mustache.

Personal history

Omrin Tanderis was a Charistine landholder whose fief was by the sea. Like many local lords he too was preparing to lead his people eastward away from the sea in hopes of finding a safer home when, while praying in his stronghold's chapel late one night, received a visitation from on high. Omrin received instructions to take his people not east but west to Athalar. There he would crush the Urukanii and bring the wild islands under the authority of man. The next day Omrin, committed to this new task, made a bold announcement to his people. He made a call to any lords or warriors in the area who had the courage and the faith to launch one last assault on the enemies of the Archenlord. A spark of hope lifted many hearts and men came in droves to Omrin's call. Likewise what few remaining ship captains in the area came to Omrin's call. When it was time to leave Omrin had only a third of the men and a fourth of the ships Charis went with. But all went willingly.

Education

Omrin was formally tutored within his father's castle.

Accomplishments & Achievements

Omrin's life before his Calling was mundane. He accomplished little but the love of his subjects as a fair and just lord. His largest accomplishment was in successfully leading a small army to Athalar and conquering it completely when empires had failed to do so.

Intellectual Characteristics

Omrin was known to be a humble and thoughtful man. He wasn't particularly knowledgable in anything, only receiving the formal tutelage a poor landowner could afford. Instead he surrounded himself with wise councilors in every subject he needed to be an expert in and allowed himself to be corrected by these councilors even in public.

Morality & Philosophy

Omrin was a deeply moral man. He believed he was born into nobility and called to his purpose for a reason, and that reason was to use his power for the good of others.
