Charistine Royalty

A very small number of folks descended from the original Charistine colonials come from an offshoot of the Charistine royal family. Omrin, though only a minor lord in Charis, came from this people group and Arengal Soga, the current contender for the throne, does as well, which helps his claim of being a descendant of Omrin. This stock of men were taller than the commonwealth folk, averaging 6 foot, with dark skin, hair and eyes.
While there are very few of these folk around, there are some deep cultural differences between them and the rest of the Charistine stock. For one, they tend to be more passionate. If they are happy, they are loud and riotous. If they are mad they are loud and riotous but in a bad way. For another thing, they tend to be more honest in how they deal with people. If they don't like someone, they're unlikely to beat around the bush.
