General Physical Condition
Ferdinand is in excellent physical condition, very healthy and fit. He is tall and lean.

Ferdinand has a light skin tone-- not tanned but not pale either. His hair is normal-length for a male (approximately to ears) and is an average brown color, and is straight. He has brown eyes with amber hues. He is tall with lean muscle.

Personal history
The only son and heir of the King of Celassa and his queen, Ferdinand was raised to be the perfect prince and, one day, the perfect king. He wanted for nothing as a child, especially in his education. His intelligence and athleticism helped him meet even his father's high expectations, garnering him much praise and attention. With these high external expectations in mind, Ferdinand set up high, stringent standards for himself and always strives to meet these standards, as his country has no one else to fall back on should he fail. He grew up very close to both of his sisters, sharing his elder sister's athleticism and his younger sister's love of learning and logic. At a young age, he was betrothed to his future queen, Diana MacThane of the Espides, and she arrived in Celassa when she was ten and he twelve. As young teens, they got along well enough, but it wasn't until after they were married (at fourteen and fifteen) that they realized their feelings for each other. Ferdinand's father died unexpectedly when he was eighteen, and at a rather young age he took up the destiny into which he was born.

As the heir to the throne of Celassa, Ferdinand was given the best private tutors in the country. He is well-rounded in all academic disciplines, including politics and governance, mathematics, science, art and music, and history. Ferdinand always excelled in his studies.

Even at a young age, as the Crown Prince, Ferdinand had several official duties within the kingdom in order to teach him the tricks of the trade of ruling. As King, he takes his duties and responsibilities extremely seriously.

Ferdinand is an accomplished military leader, having helped win two foreign wars (both in Aelliria). However, he is also a well-loved and respected ruler in times of peace, as he has kept the economy stable and flourishing and has pursued some of the same education and literacy initiatives as his younger sister.
