Zini
Tolk'ma Zini'la
Zini'la is the daughter of an imperial general or at least that is what everyone has been led to believe. In truth she works for Mother Olo and tasked with spying on the imperial household. When not breaking into the palace to see her friends she is studying with one of her many tutors across Nesher.

Personal history
She was born across The Garen Sea to slaves working in the open cast mines of the high plains. Her parents tended the magically powered machines around the clock and set up home beneath one of them. It was this proximity that led to their untimely deaths and the orphaning of young Zini. Barely seven years old she was sent to Nesher and sold Fir'ma and forced to work in his tea house. For two years she scrubbed the floors and served the customers whilst protecting the other children from the owner's violent outbursts.
At the age of nine or thereabouts, she was rescued from a life of drudgery by a woman named Mother Olo. Mother Olo saw the spark in the child's eyes and decided that she would have a different path. Tutors were found and the child was taught everything that she would need to know in order to fit into imperial society. She learnt about science, religion, the politics of the empire, social customs, and history all with one purpose in mind. Mother Olo needed a spy, one that could infiltrate the imperial palace and report from within the quarters of the emperor himself.
Zini was introduced to the court as the daughter of an imperial general stationed on the other side of the continent in Karalon. General Harl Tolk'ma the perfect introduction since the young officer had engaged in an unwise affair with an elven noble and would be unlikely to show his face in Nesher at least for a long while.
Empress Kow'ho accepted her and Zini became a friend of the imperial children, especially the heir to the throne, Ell'ha. The soon to be emperor was her age and eager to learn all he could about the world beyond the palace walls. Zini was free to walk where he could never and they grew close over their shared love of history.
Education
Few inquisitive children have a guardian as supportive of resourceful as Mother Olo. With her blessing Zini has spent time in the circus, worked for an undertaker, did a stint in the armourery before an errent crossbow bolt saw her kicked out the front gate, studied under a tailor, and learned all she could about music except how to play or sing (despite trying her hardest Zini lacks an ear for music and is incapable of playing or singing a tune). Throughout her training Mother Olo insisted Zini learn how to defend herself desipite her reluctance to fight.
Out of all her studies her favourite is the work she does with Son'dali at The Grand Temple. There she assists him in his study of Magic.
