Thovia

Thovia also known as the “Realm Of Luck” , the people of Thovia worship Leishna as their main deity as they have a deep history with her. Leishna grants them luck and good fortune for their fierce loyalty to her throughout the times. Thovia is known as a realm of comfort and wealth , even the smallest villages seldom go without. And if there were hard times among those lesser than. “The One” Sends aid , taking great pride in the care she has for her people.

Structure

Thovia is Ruled Over by a figure called "The One" A person chosen through an ancient ritual to rule over the realm. "The One" That rules today is named Ashia , she's 23yrs old. Family history is unknown as she was found at an orphanage.

Culture

The people of Thovia love the arts , flourishing with great musicians and artists of all kinds. People pay attention to what they wear and there are many clothing shops spread across the realm. Live performances and theater are often seen on the streets in large cities. The people of Thovia are generally a happy people, which they pretty much solely give thanks to the Goddess Leishna for. They celebrate her with pop up parades and random holidays that come and go, the people of Thovia love celebrations and don't really need a reason to throw a celebratory event or party. They can always fall back on their love for Leishna and just celebrate her.

History

The One

In the early days when ancient tribes lived across Thovia. There was a Tribal queen named Takir. 

She was a priestess to Leishna and through her prayers and rituals brought great luck , prosperity and wonder to her tribe. It is often rumored that she was one of Leishna’s favorite followers. When the time came and Takir was passing away of old age she dreamed of a young boy playing in a field. She somehow knew of his name and where to find him. She told her people to go to him when she passed , that the child should be the next ruler of the tribe. This strange phenomenon has been a tradition of Thovia ever since. Many believe this is Takir’s soul being reincarnated for eternity to always bring good luck and blessings from the Goddess leishna. Once it is time for “The One” to pass onto the next life. They will dream of the next One that will rule after. The One That rules over Thovia Currently ,Was found when she was just 3yrs old. Once The One has been discovered they are taken to the great city DragonHold to live in the palace, where they are raised by Priestesses of Alshara and Leishna. Until “The One” Is old enough to rule.

Military

The Fortunate Protectors

An order consisting of about 100,000 knights, many coming from a long family of protectors, as most of their ancestors were once brave warriors for Takir. They keep order and peace among the lands, and stand up to the occasion whenever a threat comes up to their realm or to their great ruler "The One".

Thovia After The Great Dragon War

Thovia opened up it's share of the "Dragon Teeth Mountains" to dwarfs , gnomes and metallic dragons seeking refuge. After the war Thovia was hit hard just like everywhere else. But it was because of their close ties with the dwarfs and gnomes that they were able to bounce back so quickly. Thovia became know for it's fine trade of gems , armor, weapons and fine clothing.

Thovia boast a large population about 4 million people with a diverse mix of humans, gnomes, dwarfs, wood elves , half-elves, Teiflings and halflings. Other races may be found here it it's just a little more rare.

Thovia exports gems and wondrous inventions that come from friendly allied dwarf and gnome cities from the Dragon Tooth Mountains.
Tears Of Leishna:  Thovia's Largest river called The Glassy River, runs from the Dragon Tooth Mountains all the way down to the border of Kairina. somewhere deep underneath the mountains a mineral is produced that is known as Tears Of Leishna. Purple glowing shards that have similar qualities to diamonds. This is the only Known place in Norria that has these precious gems. These shards can found all throughout the glassy river. It is collected and sold around the world. Tears Of Leishna can be used in replacement for diamonds in spells that requires them as a spell component.

Legend has it that , somewhere deep, deep underground there is a spring that magically produces these. No one knows for sure though as no matter how far anyone has ever dug, no one has ever found the exact source of the Tears of Leishna. It is widely believed that these gems are gifts from the goddess herself. Another show of her love to those who worship her.
