Nabnini Desert
Geography
It's West, South and east sides are surrounded by the mythic sea. The sky shines a deep lapis blue , clear and intense often referred to as the "Sky Sea". The sand is a bright sunburnt orange, large and smooth sand dunes sweep across the desert lands.
Ecosystem
Nabnini desert is barren it is completely dry, no lakes or rivers. Almost no life exist aside from a few animals that thrive in the harsh environments. Such as wild camels, hyenas, desert Lynx, Snakes ect.
Localized Phenomena
Sand tornados and ferocious wind storms run through the lands , lightening storms can be seen eerily from the distance looming over the dessert. Ghosts and spirts from a time long before even history truly began, wander the desert at night and haunted ruins scatter across the sand sea. The Nabnini Desert is cursed! Making it a land few venture to, for fear of being lost forever in the desert for not even in death can one escape Nabnini as souls are trapped here forever.
History
Legend says that Nabnini was a tropical paradise in beginnings of times. An ancient civilization known as the Nabnini. The Nabnini people had great pharaohs that ruled over the lands. Large magnificent palaces , and beautiful agriculture , cities shown like gold and the jungles were filled with rich minerals. The Nabnini people were wealthy and were thriving. Until one day they weren’t, no one truly knows what happened ,but the nabnini people just vanished. Their historical records have stopped seemingly at the same time , evidence that some sort of catastrophic event took place. Something horrible enough to wipe out the people of Nabnini and lay their lush ,tropical paradise into peril, turning it all into a sea of nothingness.
