Book update

Greetings, if you follow me on Instagram you probably saw my blurb about my novel series, The Asrahardien War Saga. I've talked about it with people here and there but I've finally decided to share with my growing fan base.

This series is going to span ten books, following the story of four characters from varying stages of life who are fighting against an empire that is determined to defeat their nation and change their way of life. These books have been tumbling about in my head for a few years now. I was waiting until the right moment to write, well, I do have to admit I was also a bit nervous about taking on this task since I haven't published a book yet, let alone finish one! I see though that this series touches on themes I'm passionate about; loyalty, tenacity, family, and other subjects that I will probably discover along the way.

My desire is for each book to be a one word title, a word that captures the meaning and feel for that novel. The title for book one is The War. I like it, obviously you get the idea what this novel is all about but who knows, it may change down the road. At the moment I'm a little over 20,000 words into it. I plan to write roughly a 100,000 word novel but I'm leaving room for it to be longer if I have to. I don't plan to write a Brandon Sanderson size tome; I enjoy his books myself but I don't think I want to break into the publishing world with a behemoth!
