Primal Animals

Primal Animals are animals which are powerful and perfect representatives of an animal species. It is said there is one for every type of animal on Nor. How these came to be is a mystery. Some say the elemental spirits created them, and they are not really animals, but elemental made of of every element that take on the form of an animal. Some say they are blueprints from which all animals of that species were created. It is said that they are extremely intelligent, much more than their animal the represent. They are also stronger, faster, and more durable. They never get sick, age or die according to stories. While there are many stories of encounters with the creatures. Tales of a Coyote bringing down a pride of lions without suffering a single injury, stories of a young woman rescued from bandit by a single dog. A tiger decimating a whole hunting party that were well armed and experienced in hunting its kind. There has never been any evidence of them, nor has anyone captured one.
