Basic Information
Anatomy
Evereni are a humanoid species with slate-gray skin, long bones and thick dark gray blood. The coal-black eyes of an Evereni see better in the dark than humans, although their eyes still take a moment to adjust to darkness. Their bodies are especially tough, but still susceptible to intense cold. Evereni havw sharp black claws and sharp white teeth, both of which can be used to tear flesh. Their nails and teeth are as sharp as razors. Red hair streaks are a sign of aging for the Evereni.
Genetics and Reproduction
Everenis reproduce sexually and are viviparous, they typically have a gestation period of 9 months.
Growth Rate & Stages
Everenis from infancy take 4 years to reach childhood and from there it takes 14 years to reach adulthood, at the age of 18 an Evereni is considered a young adult.
A Evereni who reaches the age of 30 is considered an adult and at the age of 60 they are considered to be elderly
Ecology and Habitats
Everenis are able to live in a variety of environments due to their level of technology, they will alter the environment to make it hospitable for them to live.
Everenis are generally found in temperate or sub-tropical climates.
Dietary Needs and Habits
Everenis are omnivores they procure their food by domesticating animals and farming crops; they can also hunt and gather for food as well.
Behaviour
Everenis evolved from a species of caretakers to a grouping of individuals skilled in deception, lying, and manipulation. All the same, the Everenis are still a society of caretakers at heart, but that caretaking is focusing on saving one's own life above everything else. Indeed, an Evereni can be raised in a caring environment and grow into a caring individual.

Perception and Sensory Capabilities
One peculiar trait among the Evereni is their ability to "see" the dead, who appeared as ghost-like figures or are heard as voices in their head. Such a figure can be supportive of the Evereni's desires one moment, harshly criticize them at another point, or help rationalize a situation they are faced with as if they are actually talking to another person. In truth, however, the figure seen by the Evereni does not need to be someone they killed in order to be seen as a vision.
