Varadin

Varadin is one of thirteen regions in the continent of Veilra. Its capital is Prasinus. For many centuries, the Divik orc family governed the region. When Veilran Queen Tzantia Divik was assassinated in 1958 VT, the sole living member of the family, Seiga, took his place on the Veilran throne. Seiga appointed his closest friend and advisor, the elf Tatius, to govern Varadin in his absence.

Geography

The most notable geographical features in Varadin are the Widewoods, a series of forests comprised of the enormous trees.

Fauna & Flora

Notable native flora and fauna include... Widewood, the tallest and largest coniferous trees in the world. Widewood trees can grow to a height of 300 feet and their root systems connect to one another, leading some to consider them an enormous, singular organism. Their bark is a rich brown red color, and they produce tiny pinecones no wider than a Gnome's thumbnail.
