Gilthurs acres
In early 158. Three miles out to the east or Eberek Hovel lay the small farming community Gilthurs acres, around a square mile centered on a defensible walled villa of human design. The hills are not quite as easy to travel or to farm as that of flat plains and grasslands. The acres is the property of Gilthur son of Gimgen.
The hamlet of Gilthurs acres make up a farming community with around 50 humans working the land and some tending other crafts or civic duties. Perhaps half of the square mile is developed into some kind of agricultural production. The rest of the land is made up by difficult hills with trees, but still usable for the pasture of livestock. Much of the core of the settlement comprise land usable for crops with the central areas laying in a slight vale about a quarter mile around the central hill where the villa stand. The difference in height between lowland and top of the hills differ at up to 100 feet. There are several trails leading through the underbrush and lesser woodlands upon the hills, leading to the different farms. There are other trails that lead about the acres and the outer perimeter is marked with stones in each of the cardinal and ordinal directions, each carved with markings proclaiming the boundaries of the acres.
A fortified villa of human design, Villa Hippolyte, make up the the central point of the farming community. The villa is the site for commerce or trade between the locals, and host its own little tavern. There are several farms visible around the villa, together making the community. From the villa members of the community trade services in what artisan skills they are proficient in, for the exchange for what ever goods they might be able to procure. Mostly the community exchange services between them since there are few goods to be had. The head of the community is a human woman called Alba, she is the matriarch of the villa, tending to the business speaking for the community, conducting trades and paying for the dues to Gilthur. The family of the human matriarch have been living in the area for the last 200 years, since the goblin years. The square mile making up the acres was the inheritance of Gilthur who had not yet turned 10 years at the time of the goblin wars. Gilthurs guardians took it upon themselves to rent out the land to the humans in the aftermath of the wars. Gilthur only lived in the halls of his ancestors his first few years. All that remain in the area that tell of a dwarven hand are the abandoned halls of the family hovel, about an eight of a mile to the southwest of the villa, which the humans have respected and left be.
Alba is an established warrior able to protect against several direct dangers. She fought in the ogre situation twenty years passed where her husband passed. The matriarchs daughter and heir, Lucretia, as her mother, is a well established warrior and defender of the village. They usually take to the hunting of wild animals around the perimeter setting traps and similar, but always within the borders of the acres, and they always pay their due tithes concerning any valuable profits that might be made from such endeavor.
Apart from the family of the Hippolyte-lineage, with the matriarch Alba, there are ten families totaling toward of 50 adults tending the farms of the community. In addition there are eight children. Some farms seem more generational than others, with the elder generation giving much advice and craftsmanship with a younger generation doing much toil. Other farms seem to have a younger generation where the elderly have passed on.
A wise woman ol' granny Klythië is known to dwell nearby and used to come visit the community and other communities, bringing news and advice when needed, but haven't been seen at the community for over a year.
Alba is somewhere between 45 and 50. Lucretia 23, with a daughter, Aurelia, age 5. The father is not spoken of, neither his fate, who he was, "something we don't speak of".

1. The Milivojs, 300m west, Roland 60, Clerebold 52 with wife Gibelina 45. Rolands wife Margery passed twenty years ago (138).
2. The Dragoslavas, 200m west, Nicholas 51m the widower of Selma passed four years ago (154) at the age of 40, father of daughter Enid 9 and Harvey 18. Harveys wife Rowena, Roland and Margery's daughter, 22.
3. The Vladislavs, 100m east, the twin brothers Norman 58 & Thomas 58. Norman, widower of Lyonesse passed away nine years ago (149) at age of 40. the daughter Regan 28 and son Guy 18 and guy's wife Muriel 19,
4. The Nikas, 300m south, William 43 and wife Divone, Roland and Margery's daughter, 38, with oldest son Darcy 19 and twin boys Donall and Duer age 6. Williams brother Hubert 42. the sons wife Beatha, daughter of Norman and Lyonsesse, 18.
5. The Desislavas, 300m south-east, William 42 and his wife Isolde 40, the son Kunsgnos 18. Williams younger brother Devin 29 and wife Elsha, Nicholas and Selmas daughter, 29.
6. The Ninoslavs, 400m south-west, Adam 51, widower of Yseult who passed 12 years ago (146) at the age of 40, and their daughter Morgan 32. Adams brother Hugh 41 with wife Fianna 42, their daughters Genevieve 20 and Ronat 12 and son Duer 18
7. The Zbignevs, 700m south-east, Alice 41 widow of Wymar, with daughter Wynne 9. Drogo 30, younger brother of the deceased with wife Alane, Adam and Yseults daughter, 25. The youngest brother Karney 22 with wife Venetia, William and Isoldes daughter, 18. Wymar died "2 days ago" (the 13th day after new year at age 42), from unknown causes. The family perished in a house fire the night to the 16th of 158, with Alice with daughter Wynne as the only survivors.
