The Babochka and you (session 5)
General Summary
The party began the session by consulting the letter ecovered from [TanJu ] and decided to pursue the lead in [SnakeWatch ] concerning [Ireena Romanovna ] and the [Hollow Fang tavern ]. they packed up camo loaded the Goblins and set off to Snake-Watch the road was clear for the most part and other then a Brief sighting of a nothic nothing of note occured. upon arrival to Snakewatch They went to park the Wagon While Wasobi disguised as an attractive woman went and inquired with a guard about the Hollow fang tavern after a bit of Hymming and Hawing the Guard relented the Location and the Party elft he goblins in Charge of the Wagon while they Checked it out.
As they approached the tavern they began to see signed of the Taverns true Purose as a house of Debauchery and Debasment. they etered and Carronak approached the bartender asking after Ireena. the man waved over Ireena to them and Carronak indicated his intention to claim a package, the Woman took them into the back room adnafter some failed Diplomacy the woman instructed them to stay in the room while she went and got her boss. they waited for roughly twenty minutes after which a man arrived to take them. as soon as they got into the lobby howver they were ambushed by five men. Wasobi turned one into Shredded meat with a touch, while Carrronak broke one on a pillar and Denshe burned another to ash with his Divine Wrath. the remaining two men fled for their lives. theparty decided to flee the city and ran to the wagon, as they entered the Barn they were greeted By the Woman [Tetla ] who offered them a job as well as a place to stay hidden. the party agreed and they follwed the woman to the house of an older couple who hid the party in their basment for a time providing foor and a bath. after a time Tetla informed them that the jobb was to kill everyone in the gang known as the [The Babochka ]. she would provide a way to get into the [Snake watch Undercity ] and directions to get to their part of the undercity. she would also keep people away from the tavern so they wouldent be heard. she also offered to buy anything they didnt want. wen the party was set Tetlaopened the wall in the celler and they proceeded into the Dungeon
at the first everything was Quiet and very clear cut. there was plenty of light adn they had a map. the undercity was built of stoneand there were mud walls peroidically positioned in order to keep the party on track. they soon arrived at the babochka's territory and beganmoving through carefully. with Carronak leading the charge they began to clear the place room by room. [Nubba ] was forced to ride carronaks shouylders and was nearly killed when [Kaschusov 'the Bear' ] and his hammer entered the fray int he pantry. Nubba was more than cross aboutt he matter and then they proceeded back to the armory and subsequently the den. after they had killed most of the combatants they set the goblins to kill the rest of the people in the den while the party went off to continue clearing the place. they soon found themselves at the door to the bosses room. they had anexchange of dialouge while they bashed down the door and upon entering they found it empty but soon discovered the panic room and began to break that down as well. during that time Nubba Arrived and informed them that there were a bunch of Bad guys comming. Wasobi hurridly disguised himselfadn ran out convincing them that the bosses room was clear. he led them on a wild goos chase with the help of an illusion and then returned to the party after locking the doors behind him. he arrived Just as the party broke through, Carronak attempted to see into the room and recived a faceful of Fire for his trouble. they at that point threw alchohol into the room and after a bit of dificulty lit it on fire in an attmo to burn the man out. after this failed they broke dorn the door and stepped through. they got another faceful of fire for their troubles and then the man tried to drink a seperate potion adn subsequently exploded leaving behind a shimmery portal that soon resolved into a grell. everyone pannicked and then the Party began to Blugeon the thing to death eventually killing it and taking stock. not even a minute after they slew the thing Nubba said the bad guys were comming back and the party scrambled to put up a defense.
they settled on putting Denshe up front to take the brunt of it and then they were assulted by 11 bandits. they quickly began carving throught them without spilling a dropp of blood themselves and soon enough the fight was over. returning to the den they encountered Tetla once more and she thanked them for thei work. the party tallied everything up and after Some Negotiations it was decided on 9000 gold pieces as well as a Bag of holding for their assistance.
she told them She was Likely to call on them again and they parted ways for now
