Definition

Kori (Sigtaara; "in-energy") is the innate magic born within all living beings of Fir'Gol, the Material Plane.
It is the manifestation of life itself, a pulse of the cosmos housed within flesh and spirit.
Where Tazri flows from the Arcane Sea, Kori is the flame inside the vessel.

Kori is instinct, growth, willpower, and resilience made manifest.

Origin

When the Pah'Nad split into Fir'Gol and Yoos'Okaaz, a remnant of its primal energy seeded itself in the fibers of all life.
This inner magic — subtle, silent, and ever-burning — became Kori.

In every heartbeat, in every breath drawn by a creature upon the soil of Fir'Gol, Kori stirs.
It is not taught; it is.

Nature of Kori

Unlike Tazri, which demands study and external ritual, Kori is woven into the self.

It responds not to language, but to:

• Instinct
• Emotion
• Need

When a cornered animal strikes with unnatural fury, when a mother lifts a boulder to save her child, when a hunter slips through the forest like mist — it is Kori rising.

Mastery of Kori is not about control, but about awareness and harmony with one’s own Olu (Sigtaara; "essence").

Expressions of Kori

Kori manifests differently depending on the being who bears it:

• Enhancement of Strength: feats of endurance, power, unyielding vitality
• Agility and Stealth: blending with shadow, slipping unseen between moments
• Sharpened Senses: hearing the heartbeat of prey, tasting the currents of the wind
• Resilience: surviving wounds that should kill, enduring curses that should cripple
• Inner Healing: mending flesh and spirit through pure life-force

It is raw potential, shaped by experience, trauma, love, anger, and hope.

Awakening Kori

Most beings are born with a sleeping Kori, living ordinary lives without ever stirring its depths.

However, it can be awakened through:

• Extreme emotional states
• Near-death experiences
• Years of dedicated training
• Profound spiritual awakenings

Once awakened, Kori can be honed like a blade — but never extracted. It is bound to the soul.

Limitations

Kori is limited by the body and spirit it inhabits.
An elf steeped in centuries of wisdom may wield Kori with grace and insight, while a human driven by rage may unleash it only in savage bursts.

Unlike Tazri, Kori cannot remake the world — it can only enhance what already exists.

Yet in its quiet strength, Kori endures when even the stars may fade.

Metaphysical, Supernatural
