Robin de la Wren is the son of Maria de la Wren and Volk, and the heir to the Barony of Terra Rossa as his elder brother Falco doesn't want it. He was raised in wealth and privilege as well as stories of adventures due to his family. He was raised by his parents who have dissuaded him from adventuring, trying to nurture his artistic talents. Despite this, Robin has always wanted to be an adventurer just like the rest of the de la Wrens, and so struck out on his own. The Wrenguard was too scared of Maria, especially after the wrath that was vented on them for accepting Falco, so Robin had to go further afield. He was recruited by Indrid Cold for his sorcery and connections to the Continental nobility, even though the latter was not significant. He received training in magic from his Renny and his grandfathers, Voln and Harrok. He has now put on an Eldritch Ring that connects him to an entity called "The Herald."
