Maria de la Wren is the eldest child of Kvasir Urd and Antoine de la Wren, the secodn generation of Wrenguard heroes. She was raised by her parents and her grandparents, Ash Duir and Nicolas de la Wren with love, and to be an adventurer. She proved early on that she was smart, fast and agile. She choose to pursue a Rogue-class standing in the Wrenguard with some magical abilities to add. She would be promoted to the leadership of the Wrenguard during the Dracolich crisis. She quietly married Volk Aethel during the crisis and they had Falco, then Robin. She retired after to raise her sons and become the reigning Baroness of Terra Rossa. She and Volk settled down and have become much loved in Terra Rossa. She had a rough patch with her children as she didn't want them to take on the risks of adventuring. Both her sons would leave home to do so however which has caused tension which is now being mended.
