Falmer - Snow Elf

Pious and proud, the ancient Falmer were a people devoted to seeking enlightenment in their secluded mountains. Their civilization flourished in what is today Skyrim, until they were driven undergrounds by an enemy they made themselves. They persist. But they are irrevocably changed.

The Enlightened One

Sometime in the Merethic Era, when the Aldmeri colonies in the heartlands were beginning to differentiate themselves from their faraway cultural roots, the elves of Summerset found a new realm to conquer. This one harsh and frozen, surrounded by mountains and icebergs and giants. This country was perfect to establish a foothold in the continent that would not soon outgrow a need for the resources of the homeland.
