Nike
Godess of Victory Nike
Nike is one of the deities associated with earning a victory in everything from a small squabble to battle. Centuries ago to better achieve her goal of gaining victory for herself and for her followers she put her spirit into a laurel crown, known as the Crown of Victory. Her spirit possesses anyone who puts the crown on, but only those who are considered 'worthy' can take the crown off without being horribly altered through the process.
