Ahl'Khun Astu

The enormous capital also known just as "The Astu" in the center of the realm is not only home to the
Order Of Nine and the religious leaders, its also a sanctuary of culture and free thoughts, if u do not worship the darkness that is. The parts of the city not occupied by residencies are filled with theaters, fighting pits for free men, libraries and academies, which has made the metropolis so vast it has been cut into two different sections with the main section divided further into four, namely the Sol'Rum, Noth'Rum, Wes'Rum and Faith's Plaza.

The Outer City

At the far eastern end is the Outer parts of the city, these are more spread out than the main section, yet definitely packed enough. This Section functions as a defensive line which houses the biggest part of the army and just as many ladies of the night spread throughout the streets. Great place for drinking and loosing dice-games, but I sure wouldn't move me family here.

The Main City

The four districts which makes up the bigger portion of the great capital is built up and down the hills and mountains surrounding the city which is home to thousand upon thousands of humans, little people from the north and the tall, long-eared, pretty men from the far eastern islands. The only thing really prevalent almost all throughout the distinct districts is the light-blue coated guards known as the "Peacekeepers" the Council Of Lua's very own militia, who along with the city-guard roams the streets and spreads the Will Of The Five.

Sol'Rum

The most jampacked of the three districts, yet also where the laws of Metrif is least present only a few "Blue Coats" will be found here. It spans to both sides of the southern river, "The Vond" and houses the lower-class of the common folk, here you will find the fighting pits, sellswords and brothels of the main section. As the presence of the city-guard is close to nonexistent, many would say the Mercenary's Guild runs theses parts, for their "Wardens", as they are known, are significantly more prevalent. Along the streets filled with beggars and whores you will find "Little Uldon", also known as the "Smith's Quarters", a neighborhood mainly inhabited by the Dwarven people.

Wes'Rum

Built out the side and down the western mountains lies the far largest of the "Rums", almost the size of Noth and sol combined. Wes is home to the superior portion of the city's inhabitants, mainly the middleclass common folk, and its where you'll find the markets, jewelcrafters, tailors and tradesmen from other parts of the world, furthermore its home to most of the theaters and music halls "The Astu" has to offer and its certainly where Lua's Light begins to shine upon the metropolis, for the general wealth of people here are far greater then that of most cities and towns throughout Metrif.

Noth'Rum

On the northern hills, between "Faith's Plaza" and "Lake Durant" resides the nobles and most high standing merchants of the realm. These fancy talking and ornate looking, upper-class people are separated from the Common folk by the "Nobility's Bulwark", an adorned wall which encloses the entire northern district. The city's libraries and schools are all gathered at the center of Noth'Rum at "Mastery's Square", here the history and teachings of the "United Realms" have been written down and passed on for close to a millennium.

Faith's Plaza

In the center of the capital is a square surrounded by five churches, one for each of Lua's aspects and the keep from where the Order Of Nine Writes the laws of the realm, "The Tower Of Metrif". The Plaza borders all the other segments and is encompassed by a manmade canal on all four sides, making it only accessible via bridges. Here the goddesses of the Chosen are being worshipped, each within their respected church called the "House Of the Bride", "House Of The Champion" etcetera.
