Deiristad
The last stop on the western side of the Arais river heading north, Deiristad (Dai-re-stad) is a lonely and isolated settlement in The Realm.
Originally built as an outpost against possible incursions from Wurinzama by the Carlegnian's, Deiristad has stayed small through the years. It's now used for much the same purpose as it once did for the Carlegnian's, with its most notable point in history being when The Realm used the settlement as a launching off point for an invasion into Wurinzama generations ago.
Today the city maintains a small garrison and mostly serves to collect taxes and protect the local farmers foolish/desperate enough to live near on the edges of the Faeane Galarturie.
Government
The city is run by the local chief Stuthoir of the Bealai Temple.
