Caemon Haeori
The most prominent and illustrious martial order in The Realm, the Caemon Haeori are an elite group of knights known for their mixture of martial and elemental prowess.
The Caemon Haeori are an exclusive group, to even become a novitiate one must either be a Genasi or be able to trace their ancestry to a Genasi. Once they are a novice they must train for years to take the Haeori Oath and gain better access to their elemental powers.
The Caemon Haeori are overseen by the Curadach, the most senior member of the order. The Curadach also acts as the advisor to the Domhanda Council, and is the voice of the Caemon Haeori on the council.
Caemon Haeori are known around Efannu for being extremely dangerous combatants and foes. They can call forth storms and fire to aid in normal martial combat, and are terrifying to behold in their natural element.
Structure
The Caemon Haeori are led by the Curadach, a political and military appointment. The Curadach has all final say in the order, and represents it on the Domhanda Council.
Below the Curadach are the Sinserach, the commanders of the order. The Sinserach oversee the day to day leading of the order, from training to equipment procurement to record-keeping. Among the Sinserach there are special positions such as:
The Holder of the Book, the Sinserach responsible for writing down the names and deeds of every member of the order. Them and the Curadach are the only ones with access to the Stairi Leabhar, a large tome that contains all of the orders history and secrets.
The Crutaigh Sinserach, who is responsible for equipment procurement and forging equipment for the other Sinserach or especially worthy Caemon.
The Creidim Sinserach, who is responsible for seeing to the spiritual welfare of the order.
And The Mathair, who is responsible for recruitment and overseeing training.
The general non Sinserach are normally just called "Caemon."
