Vermeillon

A platinum mining town, the highest settlement on the mountain. It was abandoned for 70 years due to a mining colapse which caused a meenlock infestation that ravaged the remaining population until Vermeillon became a ghost town. People only started to return after a group of adventurers, hired by a mining prospecting group, solved the meenlock mystery and eraticated them. A statue in their likeness adorn the town center. atop the mine lays a pond that is frozen throughout most of the year except for in the summer. People who dive into the pond, under a full moon, resurface in the feywild.
Vermeillon is a small town with around 100 people. The houses are of sturdy bricks with wooden insides; chimneys reinforce the corners of a house the mayor's house and some other buildings have platinum filigree that adorn the walls and front doors. Above the porch of the mayor's house hangs a plate displaying the town's insignia, an apple tree bearing 3 orange fruits with the sun near the horizon.
