Hunter Recruit Rank/Title in Nexus Reborn: Rise of the Fallen | World Anvil

Hunter Recruit

Hunter Recruits are the first stage to becoming Hunters. While not fully qualified as hunters just yet, you do gain some of the benefits and acclimates of being a Hunter like, local recognition, civilian command authority, access to the Hunter's Shops, and a chance to participate in the Festival of Calm tournaments.    The time spent as a Recruit is short spent, but builds the foundation for everything moving forwards.

Qualifications

Anyone wanting to become a Hunter Recruit must first get accepted into any Hunters Academy. Each city has their own Hunters Academy, and it does not matter which one you are accepted into as long as you pass.

Requirements

The requirements are simple. To apply to any of the Hunters academies you must:
  • Be between the ages of 18 and 35, varying on race.
  • Be able to manifest a Semblance.

Appointment

Once you have applied to a Hunters Academy, you must then meet two other conditions. You must first pass the Hunters Academy Entrance Exams. Then upon completion, be accepted into a Reborn's Familia. Both conditions must be met in order to become a Hunter Recruit.

Responsibilities

A Hunters primary responsibilities are to protect the city against Fiends threats. They are also expected to take on other missions in between Fiend hunts that include but are not limited to: Search and rescue, escorting cargo or people between locations, recovery of rare materials, and exploration of the Caverns and the Wilderness to uncover lost treasures and technologies and hunt down Fiends.

Benefits

Due to the high risk of the job, Hunters are very well compensated. While there is a set constant form of payment based on the missions that a Hunter takes on, there is also the acquisition and sale of rare materials that they uncover as they explore and adventure. Hunters also gain access to the following:
  • Access to Level 1 - 2
  • Access to Missions within the City.
  • Level 1 Clearance to the Archives
  • Level 1 Weapon Clearance
  • Access to the Top Floors of the Dungeons

Accoutrements & Equipment

There is no required uniform or assigned equipment for Hunters beyond their Hunter Registration ID Cards. These show their rank, and grant Hunters access to Missions, and certain locations within the city.

Grounds for Removal/Dismissal

There are only a few ways that a Hunter can be dismissed involuntarily. Those are:
  1. Failure to uphold your responsibilities to protect your nation from Fiend threats.
  2. Failure to maintain a respectable reputation within your city or neighboring nations.
  3. Abuse of your powers for selfish and personal gain at the heavy expense of others.
  4. Committing an act of Murder.
