Amon T. Lado

Amon Thomas Lado is a man who thinks very highly of himself and very lowly of everyone else. He is a reknowned wine taster who can purportedly identify any vintage and its year from a single taste. His expertise and riches make his opinion well sought after in wealthy circles, though individuals who do not consider him likeminded tend to loathe his company.
Amon's disliking of Sindri is greater than his disliking of the average person due to Sindri having the audacity of not knowing who he was shortly after the dwarf moved to Tavern Town. He used his pretiege to become a judge in the yearly Battle of the Bars on the hopes of dashing Sindri's dreams of winning the contest. Amon was soon delighted to find that Sindri's tavern had been trashed in a bar fight and wasted no time visting the establishment to inform the dwarf that if he could not clean it up in addition to preparing his entry brew, he could be disqualified. He left with a sly, wicked smile before Sindri had a chance to reply, assure in his victory but not knowing that Sindri would soon receive a few helping hands with his task.
Though Amon schemed to sabotage Sindri during the competition, he was surprised when the drink Sindri admitted was incomplete nonetheless won and everyone became blackout drunk on it. Amon was the sole person who refused to drink out of spite, leaving him the sole witness as Sindri revealed his true mind flayer form and unleashed his horde of intellect devourers on the town. Like the rest of Tavern Town's citizens, Amon was killed and his body taken over by an intellect devourer for use as one of Rhith's subordinates.
