The Mayflower Family
The Mayflower Witches are a family that has far reaching roots but was non-existent for a very long time. They are unusual as each witch of the family practices the craft in standard way, but their magic comes from a powerful Patron. This Patron has been called a Devil, or Demon, but it is unknown if there is really any religious significance to the entity. There is no doubt that it can be cruel, and vicious, but it seems to has some type of reverence for the Mayflowers.Â
There is little known of the early days of the Mayflower Witches, as all record of their existence was destroyed by witch hunters who also wiped out all of the practicing witches of the family. The only survivor was a young girl that the neighbors had taken in and claims was their own. It wasn't until almost 200 hundred years that the families’ Grimoire, which had been stolen and kept by one of the witch hunters and passed through their family as an heirloom, was reunited with a descendant of the Mayflower that survived. She reestablished the connection between herself and the patron using knowledge in the book, and thus the family was reborn.
While the renewed family is only two generations deep, the knowledge that was contained in the spellbook, and the power from the family's Patron has made the Mayflower's the second most powerful Witch family in the city.
The Mayflowers are unusual, in that all members of the family are female, and they are in groups of three. The heads of the family are three female witches, and each one has a single daughter. Their daughters are the second generation of the reborn family and are coming into their own power. They all live together in a manor in the Garden District. None of the first generation have husbands, and no one knows who the father is of any of the second generation.
Mayflower Witches have Sympathy and Herbology Magic. They also each have a Psychic power. In addition to these they also have a special power called Coven Magic that can only be used when all three witches of a generation are working together. If they are putting together a spell in their home, they also have access to a special Signature asset which represents their family's Grimoire. This means that in limited situations they can be very powerful.

Playing a Mayflower Witch
Due to the nature of this family, any player wanting to play a Mayflower Witch would need to play one of the younger daughters. No new characters are available.
