Laveau Academy
The Laveau Academy is a school created by the direct descendants of the Voodoo Queen Marie Laveau. It’s a school that offers classes in "Classic Voodoo Magic." Students who attend learn about the Lao and how to use old herbal remedies to common afflictions. While most students leave with a good understanding of the voodoo culture and knowledge of plants and herbs and essential oils, most learn no real magic
Not all who attend are ungifted though, usually, 1 or 2 each year have some ability to use the craft and every few years a student shows real potential. These students are offered membership to an inner circle by Laveau where they are taught real magic.
