History
New Luoyang used to be a trade hub and tin mining capital in the Northsea area in the early days.
Since Phoebe's death, the sudden influx of humans turning superpowered made most of them decide to abuse their power. As a result, many businesses downsized or moved further inland.
Despite this, the citizens who haven't given up completely hold on and work for a better future.

Architecture
Generally influenced by Chinese architecture mixed with elements of Art Deco. The buildings tend to be made of brick, wood, glass, and steel.
Geography
New Luoyang is built on the two islands of the Northsea Tristate area. It is relatively flat except for a large hill on the southernmost islands.
Natural Resources
The area Luoyang was built on was once known for tin mining. After deposits dwindled, people turned to jelly harvesting from kelp in the sea instead.
