Zenophus

A large town built around the tower of Zenophus, this town was used as a staging ground by Immortals bane between the Soul Sweeping and the battle of Evernight.
With the large tower of Zenophus, and it's associated keep, it's a highly defensible city at the western mouth of the Silverstrand river. From around 1510, it overtook Saltmarsh as the primary human settlement in the area (this was due to saltmarsh being ravaged by the scarlet brotherhood in 1492).
It was first claimed by Gilan, mage of Phandalin and slayer of cryovain. Following his death by the archmage, it was handed to Aeva Svefn, who died soon after and passed it to Leonus the Indomitable. Leonus then left it to Darius Iltover, who ruled it until his death in 1522. Since then, it has been a stalwart member of the Lords Alliance, enjoying prosperity and trade as part of the group. It's now a hub of commerce and culture, totally unaffected by the encroachment of cormyr (like the rest of the Alliance is).
