Giants reach is a large inn and tavern on the outskirts of Neverwinter, a small distance south of Norchapel. It's rumoured to be built out of an ancient construct made to protect Waterdeep, which ventured north before being stranded here. All that's known is it appeared on day in the early 1500s, and in the centuries since it was made into a large inn and tavern.
Their famed drink, Giantbrew, is a hearty mead served in a large 2-pint tankard. Being able to down one in less than 15 seconds will get you a free room in the inn!
The stone orb held atop it only floats during a full moon, at the end of every month. Noone knows what it is or why that happens.
