In mythic times, mortals found themselves enslaved at the cruel mercy of forces beyond their ability — dragons, tyrannical demigods, and fiends. The gods had grown distant, occupied with their own struggles on high for power, but one divine took pity on mortals. Sabosa is the Goddess of Fire, Truth, and Victory, joining mortals in their time of need and answering the prayers of countless souls who cried out for release from bondage. The very intermediaries between gods and mortals had become tyrannical, ruling over the various nascent races of humans, elves, dwarves, and others with brutality, snuffing out any spark of hope with overwhelming force. Mortals, once conceived as children of the gods, had now been reduced to little more than a slave race, or so the stories go. Sabosa heard the prayers of anguish from those mortals and sought to aid them by sharing the divine secret of fire, allowing them to harness its power and embark upon civilization and battle. Eventually, humans would fight and free themselves from their tyrannical masters and go on to found civilizations, cities, and kingdoms of their own, never forgetting the one who granted them fire and a fighting spirit in their time of need.
Matron of Light
Unlike most of the Ten Divines, Sabosa is the focal point of many cults around the continent of Sol. These cults and temples dedicate themselves to the sun, remembrance of the Matron of Light's gifts, and the spirit of truth and victory she embodies. She is also the wife of Agathos, the Lord of the Spirit Realms, and together, they are the greatest guardians of the mortal races from the primordial gods of creation. The two embarked to aid mortals in life and death, with Sabosa granting them the element of fire to live and Agathos granting them an afterlife to strive for after death. It is from this divine pair that many later races come to exist including humans, elves, angels, and fire elementals.

Some regard it as the most powerful weapon ever created. It was granted to Sabosa by Bai themself, for the sole purpose of defending creation from the forces who would see it ended. A blade of eternally burning divine flames, it has the power to destroy evil to the point not even the memory of the target persists, even in the minds of the divine. For this purpose, it is wielded with great care and wisdom by the Matron of Light, and granted infrequently only to the most deserving of champions. The cosmic evil this sword has fell throughout its history are lost to time and memory, one can only assume they were truly disastrous.
Holidays
The Fire Festival, a celebration held in many cultures. Most often, it is a one day festival held with a magnificent central flame where the celebrators enjoy merriment, food, light each other's candles and thank the goddess for her great gift to them.
